Jean McCormick, founder of the Beaches Museum & History Center and Suzanne Taylor of The Questers of St. John’s County were hosts to a meeting held at the museum recently to thank the group for its monetary contribution to the restoration of the Florida East Coast Railroad Section Foreman’s House on the property.
Large placards with "Thank you to The Questers" were evident on easels throughout the building and the group was taken on a guided tour of the Beaches Museum and then outside to explore the newly refurbished Foreman’s House that was funded by the group.
The Questers have a mission to aid in the restoration and preservation of historic architecture and works of art. The local group was founded by Betty Gaines.
