Volunteer Receptionist Needed

New Classes At Players By The Sea
Players by the Sea is offering classes for children in grades from Kindergarten to High School. Spotlight Youth Acting Classes: For kindergarten to 4th grade. Classes will specialize in creative drama, pantomime and storytelling. If You Build It, They Will Come: For Middle and High School. GTM Research Reserve Beach Walk
The GTM Research Reserve will host a beach walk from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Guana South Beach lot location. Join Research Reserve Volunteer Rick Edwards for this "Beaches 101" experience; an informative and fun walk and learn about the sand, the importance of the dunes, and the animals that call the beach their home. Meet at the Guana South Beach parking lot approximately two miles north of the Environmental Education Center which is located at 505 Guana River Road, Ponte Vedra Beach. Fort George Island Run Through Time
On Sept. 4th this 4.5 mile race starts at 8 .am. and is located at Fort George Island off Heckscher Drive. $35 entry fee. Packets can be picked-up Thursday and Friday at Jacksonville Running Company in Tapestry Park as well as on the day of the race. Guana River- Sunset Kayak Tour
Experience the Ripple Effect - a natural exploration of the pristine waters of the Guana River in an extraordinary ambient twilight sunset. Dolphins, bald eagles, and many other estuary dependent species salute the sunset over the Guana River on this two-hour exploration of the GTM Research Reserve. The stability of our glowing "firefly" kayaks is the perfect viewing platform to relax, reflect and enjoy these wonders of nature. No experience required.
