The 22nd annual Tips for Kids Sake dinner and entertainment event will take place in Ponte Vedra, Feb. 7.

The Big Brothers Big Sisters fundraising effort will see local restaurants Aqua Grill and Bogey Grille hosting celebrity waiters as they serve for tips to be donated to the organization. This year's event will be held from 5-8 p.m. in addition to an "encore" event set to take place at Bogey Grille on Feb. 21 from 5-8 p.m. Local celebrities will recruit family, friends and colleagues to sit in their sections during the dinners. celebrity waiters are also encouraged to dress in a costume for this year's theme of "Legendary Rockstars"

"'Tips' is always such a fun time," said Development Director Teresa Andrews. "Folks coming to the event not only eat a great meal, they have a great time watching their celebrity waiter serve them and have fun giving them a hard time. The entertainment of having a friend or family member as a celebrity waiter often provides additional reason to leave a big tip or donation."

This year, the celebrity waiters for the Ponte Vedra restaurants will include Eden Kendall of 99.9 Gator Country, Brian Anderson of Fluffy Cuts, Michael Lenahen, Jeff Brecko, Bryant Eulenfeld and Julie Shafer of Aurora Custom Builders and Amber Payne with Mint Magazine at Aqua Grill. The Bogey Grille's lineup will include Vincent Grassia, Bruce Jones, Lorraine Dorsa, Kevin Flanigan, George McCaughan and David Dunlap of the Ponte Vedra Rotary on Feb.7, and Cathy Stupski, Kathy Rawlins, Jeanette Edwards and Lynn Wilkinson of the Bolles School on Feb. 21.

Reservations are strongly encouraged for those who would like to attend Tips for Kids Sake and be served by a celebrity waiter. Interested parties can contact Aqua Grill at (904) 285-3017 or Bogey Grille at (904) 285-5524.
