The Tim Tebow Foundation hosted an array of athletes, coaches and entertainers for its 7th annual Celebrity Golf Classic March 4 at TPC Sawgrass. The tournament’s players included Tim Tebow himself, Harry Connick Jr., John Smoltz, Terrell Owens, Dan Mullen, Gary LeVox of Rascal Flatts, Anthony Mackie, HGTV’s Chip and Joanna Gaines, cast members of the A&E show “Duck Dynasty,” Marcus Allen, Scott Van Pelt and many more.
Highlights of the event included a lip sync competition on the 17th tee, a silent DJ dance contest on the 15th tee and a spectator putt on the 18th green.
Over the course of its first six years, the golf tournament, and preceding celebrity gala, have served as the foundation’s signature fundraising event, raising more than $7 million for kids in need through outreach efforts like the W15H Program, Timmy’s Playrooms, Tebow CURE Hospital, Orphan Care, Adoption Aid, Night to Shine and Team Tebow.
