Treat veterans to Valentine’s breakfast to benefit Benghazi Tribute

Posted

Looking for a way to celebrate Valentine’s Day with a special veteran? Treat your loved one to Valentine’s Day breakfast Saturday, Feb. 11 at Applebee’s at St. Johns Town Center.

To be served from 8 to 10 a.m., the breakfast will feature pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs and choice of coffee, juice, soda or tea. The event will also feature prize raffles silent auctions and some special surprises.

Proceeds from the event will go to support the annual Benghazi Tribute to honor those lost in the Battle of Benghazi.

Attendees are also encouraged to donate breakfast tickets to veterans in appreciation of their service and in honor of the veterans and heroes of Benghazi. An acknowledgment of donated tickets and expression of appreciation will be placed on the restaurant tables as well as on the Benghazi Tribute Facebook page. Donated tickets will be distributed through local veteran’ organizations.

Tickets are $10 per person and are available for purchase online at http://www.benghazitribute.org/sponsorship-and-donations/. To volunteer or for more information, contact Beth Heath at (904) 705-6439.
