Atlantic Beach Experimental Theatre will debut its production of “The Hallelujah Girls” next weekend with performances Friday, May 5 and Saturday, May 6 at 8 p.m. at 716 Ocean Blvd. in Atlantic Beach.
Set in SPA-DEE-DAH! – an abandoned church-turned-day-spa – the Southern comedy follows the feisty females of Eden Falls, Georgia as they decide to shake up their lives. Rallying together, the women support one another as they work to overcome obstacles and launch new, improved lives.
Directed by Celia Frank, “The Hallelujah Girls” will be performed May 5, 6, 12, 13, 14, 19, 20 and 21. Performances are at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, with Sunday matinees at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 and are available at www.abettheatre.com or by calling (904) 249-7177.
