The annual Pink Ribbon Cocktail Party was held last Thursday, Oct. 11 at the residence of former Jacksonville Jaguar Rashean Mathis and his wife Ebony in Marsh Landing Country Club.

Attendees of the event enjoyed participating in a silent auction featuring pieces from local artists, thanks to the help and coordination of Village Arts. The auction also included experiences such as a resort vacation getaway in the Dominican Republic, a gourmet dinner for 12, jewelry from David Yurman and Mazza Jewelry, a box suite for a Jumbo Shrimp outing and more. In addition, the event featured live music, hors d'oeuvres and drinks.

On Thursday, Nov. 8, one of Pink Ribbon’s original sponsors, Underwood Jewelers in Ponte Vedra Beach, will host the annual check presentation at a David Yurman trunk show where the nonprofit will present the 2018 check to its beneficiaries, Baptist Medical Center Beaches and Mayo Clinic-Jacksonville. Pink Ribbon hopes to raise at least $300,000 this year. Funds raised are used to support breast cancer research and related patient services.
