This session of the Beaches Museum Chapel Concert series will conclude May 22 with a performance by Chris Thomas King.

King’s foray into music started at an early age through the Baton Rouge nightclub owned by his father, Tabby Thomas. He is perhaps best known for his contributions to the movie “O Brother, Where Art Thou?” in which he played Delta blues-man Tommy Johnson. He also recorded a version of Skip James’ “Hard Time Killing Floor Blues” for the soundtrack of the movie, which helped launch his career.

Tickets for the show are $20 for the show in advance and $25 on the day of the show. To learn more or to purchase tickets, visit www.beachesmuseum.org or call (904) 241-5657.
