With a career in real estate spanning nearly 30 years, Light has chosen to now specialize in Exclusive Seller’s Representation. As a Luxury REALTOR®, he will be focusing on gated communities, golf and country clubs, oceanfront and intracoastal luxury homes and condos and servicing all of the Beaches and Southside Jacksonville.
Born and raised in Miami, Light began his real estate career with The Villages — the largest senior active living community in central Florida — where he became the company's top producing listing agent. In 1994, Light earned his Florida real estate broker's license and purchased an ERA real estate franchise, which quickly earned its ranking as the No. 1 ERA real estate office in Ocala. In 2007, Light moved to Jacksonville and has spent much of the past 11 years as vice president and managing broker for a local real estate company in its San Marco/San Jose Office.
Light holds the following professional designations: Graduate REALTOR Institute (GRI), Real Estate Owned Specialist (REOS) and Certified Distressed Property Expert (CDPE). He is also an OwnAmerica Investment Certified Professional (OICP).
In his spare time, Light is a foodie. He can cook like a gourmet chef and match the perfect wine to the perfect meal. He is also a motorcycle enthusiast and holds a private pilot license.
