Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Florida Network Realty recently announced that Lisa Mecke and Robin Deegan are joining the company’s Ponte Vedra/Nocatee office as new realtors.
Previously, Mecke was a fifth-grade teacher in the Broward County School District. She also has had her real estate license for a decade and is eager to use her knowledge of the school districts in Northeast Florida to help her clients not only find a home but a community in which they can raise a family.
“She’s transitioning into being a full-time agent with us and is eager to start helping her clients with all their real estate needs,” shared Kevin Waugaman, broker/manager of the Ponte Vedra/Nocatee office. “With her background and knowledge of our schools and communities, I’m sure she will succeed here with us.”
A self-described “fitness buff,” Mecke enjoys working out when she’s not working. Not only does Mecke have her Personal Training Certification, she also loves participating in Tough Mudders and Spartan Races. In her downtime, she also enjoys bike riding and spending leisurely afternoons on her boat.
“I’m a very social person; I love meeting and helping people!” said Mecke. “Being a realtor means that you’re your ‘own boss,’ and that you will get out of it what you put into it. Florida Network Realty has a great training program that helps their agents get on the right track for success in their career.”
Also a former teacher, Deegan decided to follow her interest in real estate and, after obtaining her license, began working as a realtor with another local brokerage. Deegan’s background in education offered her a natural transition into working in the real estate world – from educating her clients about each step of real estate transactions to researching and preparing reports about the fast-paced real estate market of Northeast Florida. With two years of experience in real estate, Deegan was eager to take her career the next level and joined the Ponte Vedra/Nocatee office of Florida Network Realty to help her achieve her goals.
“Robin’s passion for helping others is evident from the first time you meet her,” said Waugaman. “She is relentless in making sure her customers are taken care of, and in guiding them through each step of the real estate process. Born and raised in New York and New Jersey, Deegan has also lived in the Maryland/D.C. area, the Atlanta/Alpharetta area and has now lived in Northeast Florida for over 17 years. She has navigated her three children through the St. John County School system and has volunteered on several boards, committees and extra-curricular organizations in Northeast Florida. When not working, Deegan enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is passionate about health and wellness – enjoying going for walks, runs and bike rides on the beach.
