Beth El The Beaches Synagogue has several plans for the fall season.

To start, the high holidays are approaching, and Beth El is encouraging people to join them in celebration. The congregation is celebrating Rosh Hashanah from Sept. 9 to Sept. 11 and Yom Kippur from Sept. 18 to Sept. 19. To purchase high holiday tickets or for further information, contact the Beth El office at (904) 273-9100.

Beth El has also begun religious school registration.

“We are excited for the year to start,” Education Director Vickie Kennedy said. “We have added a comprehensive spiraling curriculum, and our staff is eager to teach Judaism to our young congregants every Sunday.”

Creating Jewish experiences has always been a goal at Beth El. A Synagogue Supper Club has been formed and members have been enjoying it thoroughly.

“It has been a great way for our members to get to know one another while trying out fun restaurants around town,” Executive Director Jacquie Sinder said. Each month, a new eatery will be named, and RSVPs will be gathered by emailing jsinder@bethelbeaches.org or calling (904) 273-9100.

Also coming up, the annual Celebrate the Seasons event has always been a warm and inclusive gathering and is scheduled for Oct. 13.

Beth El Sisterhood has many activities planned that add to creating Jewish experiences.  The popular Annual Game Day is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Breakfast, lunch and drinks will be provided with pre-paid admission. The Sisterhood Fashion Show featuring fashions from Athleta will take place on Thursday, Nov. 1 at 6:30 p.m. Light hors d’oeuvres and wine will be served.
