Brightway Insurance is recruiting top talent for its next instructor-led training class slated to begin Monday, March 5.

The extensive training program will prepare Insurance Service Center customer service representatives to provide industry-leading service to customers and franchisees. New hires are trained to work in Brightway’s Service Center at 3733 University Blvd. West in Jacksonville as the first step in their insurance careers.

“Our model provides comprehensive business support to our franchisees,” said Michael Miller, chairman and co-founder of Brightway. “We’re recruiting for people who want prosperous insurance careers with us. The first step in their journey will be supporting the customer service needs of our 153 stores in 19 states. We have a culture of empowerment and a long history of promoting from within. Starting with Brightway in customer service is a great way to start your career.”

Brightway trains representatives on handling customer calls and guides new hires through the licensure process. Additionally, the company covers the licensure fee for new hires, so they are licensed insurance professionals ready to hit the ground running once they complete the course.

The three-phase program includes five weeks of training, one week of licensing and three weeks of nesting, where representatives take calls with assistance from seasoned team members. The company seeks people who live its core values of “smart, accountable and trustworthy” and who are interested in learning about insurance and building a prosperous insurance career with Brightway.

Brightway employs more than 230 insurance professionals in Jacksonville delivering customer service, carrier relationships, marketing, accounting and technology support, which frees up Brightway’s agents to grow their businesses through new business sales.

In addition to joining a growing company with a strong financial future, employees enjoy: a market-leading 401(k) match (Brightway matches 4 percent with no vesting period); employer-sponsored insurance; an employee bonus program; opportunity for upward mobility and a career with the company; programs that recognize and reward employees for being smart, accountable and trustworthy, such as Employees of the Quarter and Employees of the Year; and a company-sponsored event for employees and their families. This year’s event is a Jacksonville Icemen game.
