The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall, in partnership with the Florida Theatre, will present Max Weinberg — the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and drummer for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band — live on stage Friday, Oct. 26.

Fresh off the "River Tour 2016-2017" of Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band, Weinberg announced a new touring concept entitled "Max Weinberg's Jukebox." An interactive experience, Weinberg invites the audience to determine the set list in real time during the concert. Performing songs from the glory days of rock and roll, fans will get a chance to choose from a video menu of over 200 songs including the Beatles, the Rolling Stones and more.

Weinberg is also known to millions of fans for his 17-year stint as the bandleader and comedic foil to talk show host Conan O’Brien. Additionally, he is the only musician in history to make the leap from a starring role in an iconic rock group to leading his band on NBC’s “Late Night” and “The Tonight Show.”

Throughout his 50-year professional career, Weinberg has played with some of the biggest and most diverse names in music including James Brown, Paul McCartney, Bob Dylan, BB King, Tony Bennett, Ringo Starr, John Fogerty, Stevie Winwood, Sheryl Crow and Isaac Hayes. Weinberg has performed Hayes' legendary "Shaft" with a 30-piece orchestra on the “Late Night” broadcast.

In 2009, Springsteen and The E Street Band performed at the halftime show at Super Bowl 43 to the largest audience ever recorded for that event — over 100 million people. Weinberg also has the distinction of being the drummer on the two biggest selling rock albums in history — Bruce Springsteen’s “Born In The USA” and Meatloaf’s “Bat Out Of Hell.”

Weinberg’s show in Ponte Vedra starts at 8 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m. For more information on this event and to purchase tickets, visit www.pvconcerthall.com.  The Ponte Vedra Conert Hall is located at 1050 A1A N.
