Fall festivities abound at Nocatee Farmers Market

Fall was all around at the Nocatee Farmers Market last Saturday, Oct. 21 as residents enjoyed horse-drawn hayrides and built their own scarecrows at Nocatee Town Center. The day also featured local band, Who Rescued Who, as well as a Blessing of the Animals ceremony offered by St. Francis in-the-Field Episcopal Church. As is the case at every Farmers Market, over 70 local vendors also offered items such as organic produce, herbs, spices, unique foods, crafts, jewelry and more.

The next Nocatee Farmers Market is Saturday, Nov. 18, and the theme of the event is “Pet Lovers Day,” offering visitors the opportunity to watch performances by the world-famous Disc-Connected K9 Frisbee Dog. Local pet adoptions and special pet vendors will also be incorporated into the event.
