The Nocatee Farmers Market on Saturday, Jan. 19 featured a special appearance from the Fernandina Pirates Club.
The First Coast organization brought their life size pirate ship, Amelia’s Revenge, to the event, and taught a special, interactive “pirate school” for kids.
Along with this fun theme, the market included over 70 local vendors offering items such as organic produce, herbs, spices, unique foods, crafts, jewelry and more. The event also featured bounce houses for kids, and the bar was open for beer and wine purchases. Barnhorst Eye Associates served as the sponsor of the event.
The next Farmers Market is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 16. The event will feature a “Curisin’ Car Show” theme.
