First Coast News Anchor Jessica Clark will be the guest emcee at The Loretta Swit Annual Gala, to be held Friday, April 7 at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach.
An Emmy Award-winning journalist, Clark has covered St. Johns County and St. Augustine since 2005. She will join actress and animal activist Swit, actor Gregory Harrison (“Trapper John, MD”) and his wife, Randi Oakes (“CHiPs”) and other celebrities at the gala, which will benefit St. Augustine’s Ayla’s Acres No-Kill Animal Rescue. The gala will include a gourmet dinner, entertainment, silent and live auctions, and a quickfire raffle. Ayla’s Acres also will announce the winner of a 2017 Hyundai Elantra.
Proceeds from the event will be used for the construction of Peter’s Friends Animal Resource Center, which will include an adoption center, an education facility for school and community organizations, and a low and no-cost spay and neuter clinic.
