Throughout Military Family Month in November, all First Coast YMCA locations will be free to active duty members of the armed forces (including National Guard and Reservists), veterans and their families.
Military Family Month is an opportunity for the Y to support local families in Northeast Florida. All month, interested individuals can visit their local Y to experience everything the branch has to offer. Military families can take advantage of the Y’s diverse offerings such as indoor/heated swimming pools, basketball courts, strength and cardio equipment, childcare and hundreds of group exercise classes offered every week. Guests must check in at the front desk to sign a waiver to participate.
The First Coast YMCA became the first Florida affiliate of the Armed Services YMCA in summer 2018. Through this partnership, the First Coast YMCA provides servicemen and women, and their families, with affordable access to wellness solutions, special membership, free programs in Healthy Living Centers for the entire family and more. The First Coast YMCA also provides special rates for all honorably discharged service veterans and supports dependents of active duty personnel.
