Jacksonville Symphony inspires “Musical Madness” at Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library

The Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library recently hosted the third of four performances by the Jacksonville Symphony’s ensembles as part of its “Musical Madness for Kids” series, welcoming the Woodwind Quintet for the educational performance. During the show, which was made possible by the sponsorship of the Friends of the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library, each member of the ensemble taught the audience about their instrument and demonstrated its role in the ensemble and symphony.

On Wednesday, May 10, from 4 to 5 p.m., the library will host the last show in the series with an educational performance by the symphony’s String Ensemble. School-age children, caregivers and all interested students and adults are invited to join the library for the performance, during which symphony members will answer questions, talk with patrons and take photos.
