Jacksonville Symphony to perform ‘Home Alone’ Nov. 25

Posted

The Jacksonville Symphony will perform holiday favorite “Home Alone” Nov. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts.

The production features renowned composer John Williams' charming and delightful score performed live by the Symphony with the picture. In the holiday classic, Macaulay Culkin stars as Kevin McCallister, an 8-year-old boy who's accidentally left behind when his family leaves for Christmas vacation, and who must defend his home against two bungling thieves.

The program will be conducted by Jacksonville Symphony Associate Conductor Nathan Aspinall, who joined the organization as assistant conductor in 2015 and was named associate conductor in 2016.

The Jacksonville Symphony is a North Florida music nonprofit offering live performances at Jacoby Hall in the Times-Union Center for the Performing Arts and other venues throughout the area. In addition, the Symphony provides music instruction for youth and operates the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra.
