Purdue University senior golfer August Kim recently was recognized for her play.

The Allen D. Nease High School graduate was named March 23 and March 29 as the Big Ten Conference women's golfer of the week.

She finished third at the 3M Augusta Invitational to lead the team to victory. She shot a 214 (71-71-72).

She was recognized a second consecutive week after sharing medalist honors at the Henssler Financial Intercollegiate, where Purdue placed second. She shot a 213 (71-71-71) to tie for first.

Softball

Georgia Tech University infielder Kelsey Chisholm had a team-high 30 runs batted in through 37 games. The Bartram Trail alumna shared the team lead with seven home runs and batted .240.

Another from the Bears, sophomore outfielder Alyssa Wash hit .328 in 25 games for Saint Leo University. She had two home runs and 12 RBIs.

Women’s lacrosse

Freshman defender Sara Tomasello played in 12 games for Florida Southern College. She is out of Bartram Trail.

Florida Institute of Technology sophomore attacker Jordan Grant, who competed for Bartram Trail, had five goals in six games.

Previously at Ponte Vedra High, freshman goalkeeper Tatiana Lathion had a 2-0 record in seven games for Haverford College.

Baseball

College of Central Florida freshman outfielder Blake Marabell batted .311 in 44 games. The past Bear had five home runs and 28 RBIs.

Jacksonville University sophomore Mike Cassala hit .266 with 13 RBIs in 25 games. The former Bear was 0-2 with two saves and a 6.14 ERA in nine appearances.

Santa Fe College sophomore outfielder Wyatt Meisterhans batted .313 with five home runs and 28 RBIs in 35 games. He competed for Bartram Trail.

Pitcher Anthony Egeln Jr. of Trinity College had a 0-2 record and 6.12 ERA in six appearances. He played for Ponte Vedra.
