Library to present ‘Honoring Choices’ program on advance care planning

A presentation on advance care planning will be held Tuesday, May 2 at 6:30 p.m. at the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library on Library Boulevard in Ponte Vedra Beach.

Jamie Buller, director of advance care planning at Community Hospice & Palliative Care, will introduce attendees to the Honoring Choices Florida program that helps families establish a process for creating a well-informed health plan. Topics to be covered include starting a conversation around the topic of advance care planning and identifying how individuals or loved ones wish to live in the event of a serious or life-limiting illness.

A licensed clinical social worker, Buller holds advanced certification in hospice and palliative care. She previously served in leadership roles at St. Vincent’s Health Care in Care Management and Palliative Care. She holds master’s degrees in Social Work from FSU and Administration from Central Michigan University.
