A multi-vehicle car accident on Friday, April 20 on Palm Valley Road in Ponte Vedra resulted in a life-threatening injury and the subsequent closure of the road for approximately five hours.
According to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office (SJSO), Jarred Michael Ventura was traveling west on Palm Valley Road in his Ford F-150 when he crossed the center of the road just east of the Palm Valley Bridge and entered the eastbound lane, ultimately striking several vehicles.
