The Northeast Florida Builders Association’s “SAM Tram” recently made a stop at St. Augustine’s Markland community, offering local Realtors® an opportunity to learn more about the master-planned community’s homes and amenities.

An initiative of NEFBA’s Sales and Marketing Council, the “SAM Tram” is a reoccurring bus tour of builder models for area Realtors and associated industry people.

More than 55 guests participated in the tram visit, enjoying food and beverages along with tours of the community located on International Golf Parkway one mile east of I-95. Markland’s amenities include a zero-entry pool framed by cabanas and lounge areas, a fitness center and yoga studio, gathering and entertainment rooms, tennis courts, a children’s playground, and an interconnected network of parks and walkways.

Watson Realty’s Kimberly King – who noted it was her first time at Markland – said she liked what she saw.

“The higher quality of the community provides a luxury lifestyle without it being too big,” King said. “People don’t want huge estate home sites anymore. The convenience to I-95 makes your drive time much quicker.”

Melissa Parker of The Ormond Agency commented on the feel of the neighborhood.

“The houses are so different and the neighborhood is quiet,” she said. “It is a great place to raise a family.”

With pricing that range from $280,000 to more $700,000, Markland features homes by six builders, including Providence Homes, Drees Homes, Riverside Homes, Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Dream Finders Homes, and The Cottage Home Company.
