Mattamy Homes recently broke ground and started construction on two new model homes at Beacon Lake, a new community in St. Johns County offering resort-style neighborhood amenities and a convenient location east of Interstate 95 on County Road 210.

“We anticipate high demand for our home designs at Beacon Lake as the community offers a wonderful environment for families to live, play, grow and create lasting memories together,” said Cliff Nelson, the Jacksonville division president of Mattamy Homes and a Ponte Vedra resident. “Homeowners will enjoy an ideal location, beautiful surroundings, spacious home sites and exceptional amenities. We look forward to welcoming future homeowners to Beacon Lake.”

The first model Mattamy Homes’ popular Tradewind design has 2,710 square feet of living space with three bedrooms and two-and-a-half baths, plus a formal dining room, a flex space, loft and den. The second model the Cannon II plan has 2,730 square feet of living space with four bedrooms and a study, three-and-a-half baths and a three-car garage. The model homes will open in 2018.

Overall, Mattamy Homes at Beacon Lake is offering designs ranging in size from 1,760 square feet to more than 3,500 square feet that are priced from the high $200,000s.

Beacon Lake residents of all ages will enjoy numerous opportunities for indoor and outdoor recreation and relaxation. The centerpiece of the community is a paddle friendly 43-acre lake and an expansive community clubhouse overlooking Beacon Lake with spacious entertainment and dining areas inside, as well as covered porches and a fire pit outside for relaxing and socializing.
