Big hair, leg warmers and neon-colored tops returned to Nease High School last week, as the school’s drama students presented the musical “Back to the 80s.”

Presented April 18-19 in the school’s Performing Arts Center, the student-driven production set in a 1980s high school featured a score filled with some of the decade’s most popular tunes – from “Material Girl” and “Man in the Mirror” to “Love Shack” and “Wake Me Up Before You Go Go,”

In addition to performing in the musical, students also were responsible for the show’s choreography, costumes, props and publicity with guidance from drama teacher Maria Laird and choir director Madeline Poe.
