Apryle Showers Race

April 7, 6-10 a.m.

Splash Waterpark

The second annual Apryle Showers Run will take place April 7, with proceeds benefitting the Apryle Showers Foundation. Apryle Showers is a nonprofit organization serving individuals, ages 30-55, currently undergoing treatment for cancer. St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office Women’s Personal Safety Class

April 9/16, 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Nocatee Room

St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office will be teaching a free women's self-defense class for female Nocatee residents, ages 12-18. The session on April 9 will focus on awareness and general safety and security. The session on April 16 will focus on basic techniques, such as targets, strikes, kicks and escapes. Participants must attend both nights of classes.

 

Kids’ Kraft Day

April 10, 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Fitness Center

Residents can drop off their children for an afternoon of crafting and creativity at Kids’ Kraft Day. This free resident event will feature crafts that children can take home at the end of the day. Registration is mandatory as space and supplies are limited.
