Ocean Palms Elementary had a big turnout for its Literacy Parade on Friday, Oct. 27. Students channeled their creativity by slipping into the persona of their favorite book character. Ocean Palms also collected unopened candy to benefit Treats for Troops on Nov. 1-2. Donations were sent to the Mayport SSO for further distribution.
