Ponte Vedra Wellness Center welcomes Dr. Casey Means

Dr. Casey Means has joined Ponte Vedra Wellness Center, assisting owner Dr. Erika Hamer in the practice’s Ponte Vedra and Nocatee offices as a chiropractic physician.

A Florida native, Means attended Palmer College of Chiropractic at its Port Orange, Florida campus. He has practiced in North Fort Myers and Cape Coral and brings extensive experience working in a family-oriented practice serving patients of all ages and conditions.

“I have experienced the healing benefits of chiropractic care first hand,” said Means, who comes from a family of chiropractors. “I look forward to helping the patients at Ponte Vedra Wellness Center recover effectively from accidents or injuries as well as keeping them healthy so they can continue to enjoy an active lifestyle.”

In addition to welcoming Means to the practice, Hamer noted that longtime employee Daniel Brauch has pursued additional studies sponsored by Sherman Chiropractic College and is now credentialed as a certified chiropractic physician assistant. As a licensed CCPA, Brauch is able to handle new patient intakes, perform initial patient exams and re-exams, and perform x-rays and rehab therapies as ordered by Dr. Hamer.

“I am beyond excited to attain my certified chiropractic physician’s assistant license so that I can assist Dr. Hamer in providing the highest quality care to the patients of Ponte Vedra Wellness Center,” Brauch said. “I look forward to the new challenges and opportunities ahead and can’t wait to help even more patients attain a higher level of functional capacity and wellness.”

Hamer added, “We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Means to the practice and know that his expertise will serve our patients well. In addition, we are so proud of Daniel’s accomplishments because there are only a handful of licensed CCPAs in the state of Florida so Daniel brings a distinct honor to this practice. Overall with the addition of Dr. Means and Daniel’s expanded abilities, we know we are in a great position to serve the health and wellness needs of our growing communities – both in Nocatee and at the Beaches.”
