Jacksonville homebuilder Providence Homes has received the 2017 Energy Star Certified Homes Market Leader Award. This is the company’s eighth consecutive year receiving the award.
Each year, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Energy Star Certified Homes program presents Market Leader awards to outstanding partners who have made important contributions to energy-efficient construction and environmental protection by building an outstanding number of Energy Star certified homes. This year, Providence Homes was recognized for contributing 173 Energy Star Certified Homes in 2016, which is the equivalent of reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 293 metric tons, growing 7,439 tree seedlings for 10 years, avoiding the consumption of 681 barrels of oil and removing 62 passenger vehicles from the road.
Providence Homes continues to receive the Energy Star Market Leader Award for its maintained dedication to exclusively building Energy Star certified homes in Northeast Florida.
