The team at Seachasers Lounge in Jacksonville Beach recently announced its summer programming.
Located alongside Celebrity Chef Kenny Gilbert's restaurants, the live entertainment venue will be hosting “Summer Acoustic Sessions” on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. throughout the summer months. Performances will include soulful blues from Jacksonville native Big John Austill, St. Augustine-based Kyria Livingston, DiCarlo Thompson strumming southern rock and Stacey Bennett on the banjo from June through August.
In addition, this summer will feature live music on the pop-up "Gilbert's BBQ" deck. The "Beer, BBQ and Bands" series will take place on Saturdays from noon to 3 p.m. from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Guests can step off the beach and enjoy cold IPAs, barbecue sandwiches and barbecue-inspired tacos and the sounds of bluegrass and southern rock. April 8: Springin’ in the Blues Weekend (Kim Retiguez and the Azul Allstars)
April 29: Opening of the Beaches (Firewater Tent Revival)
May 26: Jazz Festival Downtown (Mama Blue)
May 27: Jazz Festival Downtown (Kim Retiguez and the Azul Allstars)
July 7: 4th of July Weekend (Kim Retiguez and the Azul Allstars)
July 8: 4th of July Weekend (Mama Blue)
