Shearwater recently hosted its first “Pups and Pints” event to benefit Clay County Animal Care and Control.
Residents of the master-planned community located off CR 210 in St. Augustine played lawn games and sipped craft beers from Veterans United Craft Brewery, representatives of which were on hand to answer questions about the various beers available. Guests were encouraged to bring their dogs along, and Clay County Animal Care and Control also brought several dogs that were available for adoption. As a result of the event, four adopted dogs now call Shearwater home.
