Several First Coast residents and other area visitors enjoyed the 25th annual St. Augustine Bed & Breakfast Holiday Tour last weekend presented by St. Augustine Historic Inns.

Held Dec. 8-10, the event brought attendees to over 20 of the Oldest City’s bed and breakfasts decorated for the season, as well as cultural/heritage institutions in the city such as the Lightner Museum and St. Augustine Lighthouse & Museum, among others.

Along the way, tour attendees enjoyed savory fare, sweet treats and beverages from local restaurants and establishments, as well as entertainment ranging from guitar and piano players to singing quartets. Participating restaurants included Catch 27, Ice Plant, Meehan’s, the Floridian and others.

A portion of tour’s proceeds supported the RSVP (Retired and Senior Volunteer Program) of St. Johns County, which provides opportunities for people 55 and over to assist children and adults in their educational pursuits, mobilize community volunteers for service and assist local nonprofits with special support.
