The St. Johns County Council on Aging (COA) is seeking volunteer support in the following locations and with the following tasks:
· THE PLAYERS Community Senior Center, 175 Landrum Lane- Volunteers are needed Thursday afternoons from 1 to 4 p.m. for minor clean-up, activity check-in and reception. · Volunteers are needed Thursday mornings from 8:15 to 11:30 a.m. to help with basic lawn care for seniors in need. Duties include moving, raking, clipping and edging. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com. St. Augustine.
· Volunteers are needed in Sunshine Center Adult Day Care to assist with simple arts and crafts activities on Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com. St. Augustine.
· A volunteer driver is needed to pick up bread from the local grocery store and deliver it to Trout Creek Senior Center twice a week. Call (904) 209-3686 or email aleach@stjohnscoa.com. St. Augustine.
