Havana Nights Dance Social
Thursday, Jan. 10, 2019 from 6 to 8 p.m.
This event is Nocatee’s newest monthly dance social. Each month will feature a different theme and dance taught by dance teachers from All About Ballroom. From 6 to 6:30 p.m., there will be a short social, and the bar will be serving select beer and wine. The instructors will then teach a 30- to 45-minute class on the Salsa and then finish the night with fun line dances. This is a free event for residents and their guests. Food Truck Friday

Some of Jacksonville’s favorite food trucks will gather to serve members of the community local one-of-a-kind, gourmet food and snacks. This event will feature live music by Tad Jennings. Drinks will be available for purchase at the bar, including select craft beers and wines. There will also be a Kidzone with bounce house inflatables (weather permitting).
Annual Polar Plunge
Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019 from 8 to 10 a.m.
Nocatee Residents are invited to dress up in their craziest outfits and commemorate the first swim of the New Year with the 10th Annual Nocatee Polar Plunge. The morning of Polar-Plunge will include a community plunge at 8:30 a.m., “snow” fall, best dressed awards, group swim, free breakfast, hot chocolate and coffee for those who are jumping (breakfast, coffee and hot chocolate available for purchase for those who are not participating in the jump) and more. Residents can enjoy the Family Lagoon Pool after plunging and also take advantage of the Rip Tide Water Slide. This is a resident-Only event. Email email@example.com to RSVP.
