WJCT presents Wilco founding member Jeff Tweedy at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall

The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall will host the founding member of Wilco, vocalist and songwriter, Jeff Tweedy with guest James Elkington live in concert on March 11.

Jeff Tweedy, the lead singer and founding member of Wilco and Uncle Tupelo, has created an eclectic body of work spanning four decades, which has solidified him as a major figure in Americana, indie rock, and contemporary folk. Tweedy's first solo album of entirely new and original material, “WARM,” is out this Friday, Nov. 30 on dBpm Records. In advance of this occasion, Tweedy has shared a new video for "I Know What It's Like," a new song off the album, and announced a solo U.S. tour for early 2019.

The album “WARM” was produced and recorded entirely by Tweedy at Chicago’s now legendary studio, The Loft. It features collaborators Spencer Tweedy, Glenn Kotche and Tom Schick. Although not an official companion-piece to his newly released memoir, “LET’S GO (SO WE CAN GET BACK): A Memoir of Recording and Discording with Wilco, Etc.”, the two works are linked inextricably. Both were created concurrently and some of the stories Tweedy mined for his book appear in some form on the album.

Tweedy just completed his sold-out book tour of the east coast and Midwest, which treated audiences to candid conversations with Wilco fans and friends like Ira Kaplan, Abbi Jacobson, Jon Hamm and more. The release of a few of these conversations in audio-form will be coming in the following months.
