On Sunday, Oct. 7, all eight original members of the hip hop group Wu-Tang Clan will descend upon the St. Augustine Amphitheatre for the 25th anniversary of the Wu-Tang Clan’s debut album “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).”

The Wu Tang Clan has released seven gold and platinum studio albums with worldwide sales of more than 40 million albums. With the release of their debut album in 1993, songs like “C.R.E.A.M and “Protect Ya Neck” introduced hip-hop pioneer, The RZA, as a groundbreaking hip hop craftsman. With lyrics that combine the reality of 1990s New York and the world of martial arts, the Wu-Tang Clan has created a unique mythology that captures the hearts of fans worldwide.

Prior to gates opening on the night of the show, which starts at 7 p.m., a Wu-Tang Clan pre-show party will be hosted by Jacksonville MCs Stono Echo, Steam Mechanics and DJ 3 CLOPS I with an open mic cypher with Mal Jones on the Front Porch of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre starting at 4 p.m.

Ranging from $55 to $89, tickets for the show are currently on sale at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall Box Offices. They also will be available at ticketmaster.com or by phone at (800) 745-3000.
