Join county naturalists for a guided trip of the intracoastal waterway and enjoy sunset on the water with a Nocatee sunset kayak trips. The tours will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. each evening from Aug. 13 through Aug. 16. The starting point will be at the Nocatee Paddle Launch, 2015 Nocatee Landing Trail. Cost is as follows: SJC resident providing own boat – $20 per person; non-resident providing own boat – $30 per person; SJC resident using a county boat – $40 per person; Non-resident using a county boat – $50 per person. Pre-registration is required for a trip but does not guarantee a spot. Space on a trip is allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. The Nocatee Farmers Market hosted a Mardi Gras Celebration in Saturday, Feb. 15 at the Nocatee Station Field. There was live music by Junco Royals, a stilt walker, bounce houses, crafts and more. There was also shopping from more than 70 local craft and food vendors. The event was sponsored by Specialty Cartz & Partz. more
Bryan Page, owner and winemaker of Revolver Wine Co., visited Coastal Wine Market & Tasting Room Tuesday, Jan. 28. Page made the Nocatee wine market his first stop on his Florida tour. “An incredible 5th time visiting, and we can’t get enough of you and your amazing wines,” Coastal Wine posted on its Facebook page. more
