On June 24, WFA founder and event planner, Leigh Cort planned this tour alongside alliance member and St. Augustine Distillery event coordinator, Zoe McDaniel, for an afternoon of cocktails and camaraderie for women in the hospitality industry. more

On Saturday, June 3, Karate America hosted more than 500 karate students and guests for a testing and tournament event conducted by Grand Master William Clark at the Sawgrass Marriott. The testing allowed the students to prove their physical rigor and training knowledge while giving them the opportunity to “win and learn.” more
For nearly 23 years, the MaliVai Washington Youth Foundation has been driven to improve the outcomes of young people in the Durkeeville community in Duval County. On June 27, their efforts to reach more students with a state-of-the art Teen Center were honored with a $500,000 community challenge grant awarded by THE PLAYERS Championship. PGA TOUR pro, Jim Furyk, joined MWYF Founder Mal Washington; THE PLAYERS’ Executive Director, Jared Rice; and Duval County Public Schools’ Superintendent, Diana Greene for the presentation. more
