Leaders at Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida and The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation recently announced the merging of their after-school programs to more effectively serve Jacksonville youth.
Through this partnership, Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida will merge McKenzie’s Academic Resource Centers, welcoming two Clubs and more than 300 underserved youth to the 25 Clubs and 2,500 youth served every day through local Boys & Girls Clubs.
Both organizations have a shared mission to help provide great futures for at-risk youth through academic tutoring, mentoring, job readiness and skill building programs.

The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation was founded in 2010 and is dedicated to empowering young people to discover their purpose in an increasingly complex and challenging world.
“We’re incredibly proud of the work the Foundation team has done to better the lives of children in Jacksonville,” said Stephanie and Blake Wilson, parents of McKenzie Noelle Wilson, the Foundation’s namesake. “By joining the Foundation’s program operations with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida, we know that together we’ll be able to accomplish even more great things in our local schools and communities to continue the McKenzie Foundation’s commitment to help young people realize their full potential.”
