The Alzheimer Association's in-person Caregiver Support Group will meet from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the first Monday of every month from Jan. 4 to Dec. 6, 2023. The location will be THE PLAYERS Community Senior Center, 175 Landrum Lane, Ponte Vedra Beach.
In addition, the Alzheimer Association's virtual Caregiver Support Group will meet online from 2 to 3 p.m. on the fourth Wednesday of every month from Dec. 28 to Nov. 22, 2023.
The support groups create a safe, confidential, supportive environment or community and a chance for participants to develop informal mutual support and social relationships. They also educate and inform participants about dementia and help participants develop methods and skills to solve problems.
