Ameris Bank recently held a grand opening celebration at its new branch at 200 W. Forsyth St. in Jacksonville. This new location expands the bank’s services to the city with retail banking, business banking and mortgage lending.
Ameris has completed an extensive renovation of the ground floor to modernize the 5,250-square-foot space. The new location employs more than 10 people, bringing the total employment by Ameris Bank to 330 employees across metro Jacksonville.
“As someone who lives and works in this community, I’m especially proud to see our bank grow here in Jacksonville,” said Lou Noir-Jones, Jacksonville market president for Ameris Bank. “Locating a branch in the emergent downtown area allows us to be even more accessible and responsive to the needs of our customers and community partners.
