Art with a Heart in Healthcare will hold its second annual wine dinner fundraiser with a live and silent auction on Tuesday, Feb. 12.
Beginning at 6:30 p.m., the event will be held at Royal Palm Village Wine and Tapas in Atlantic Beach. The cost per person is $100 and will benefit Art with a Heart in Healthcare. A nonprofit organization, Art with a Heart in Healthcare relies on donor support to help provide high-quality art supplies and fine art experiences to young patients coping with cancer, trauma and adversity to heal through creative expression.
Art with a Heart in Healthcare programs and services fund a team of staff artists, community volunteers and interns from the University of North Florida to develop sessions individualized to meet the needs of patients and families at bedside or in groups. Together, they create art that helps to reclaim the child from the illness. Patients are from Palm Coast to St. Augustine to Jacksonville and Fernandina Beach and beyond. The nonprofit’s team of artists and volunteers have served tens of thousands of patients and their families in Northeast Florida at Wolfson Children's Hospital, Nemours Children's Specialty Clinic, St. Vincent’s Medical Center and Mayo Clinic.
The event venue is renowned for its worldwide selection of food, wine and beer. The fundraiser will feature a table service menu featuring locally grown sustainable herbs, fruits, vegetables, edible flowers from the owner’s organic garden and a wine pull, among others.
Fundraiser sponsorships are available and include a Signature Event Sponsorship for a donation of $2,500 with exclusive title and naming opportunities, recognition on all signage and printed event materials. In addition, this sponsorship includes upgraded wine pairings, eight seats for dinner, framed children's artwork and 20 raffle tickets. The Gallery Level Sponsorship is available for a donation of $1,500 with recognition on all signage and printed event materials, upgraded wine pairings, eight seats for dinner, framed children’s artwork and 10 raffle tickets. The Masterpiece Level Sponsorship is available for a donation of $1,000, recognition on all signage and printed event materials, six seats for dinner and five raffle tickets.
