Tickets are available for First Coast Cultural Center’s 6th Annual Beaches, A Celebration of the Arts gala to benefit educational art programs. This festive Grecian-themed fundraiser will be held on Sunday, May 4, at the TPC Clubhouse in Ponte Vedra Beach from 6 to 8 p.m.
Highlights include inspired chef specialties, live music, a silent auction, art demonstrations and an awards presentation.
“We look forward to honoring those who positively impact our community as we celebrate FCCC’s ‘Year of the Pearl,’ marking 30 years of prosperity as a nonprofit organization,” said Kimberly Sheridan, fundraising manager.
The gala, which has been a sell-out in the past, is the center’s primary fundraising event for the year, according to Sheridan. Proceeds support a variety of community engagement programs for all ages, including Sound Connections Music Therapy for children with disabilities. This is offered free to St. Johns County students, including Title I schools.
Sheridan added that Ben Becker, Action News Jax anchor; Dr. Arun Gulani, world-renowned eye surgeon from Gulani Vision Institute and the gala’s master of ceremonies; and Silvia Romero, FCCC’s new senior director of operations; will share a few words along with FCCC Board Member Mike Story and Candice Sirak, Sound Connections Music Therapy manager.
Tickets can be purchased on FCCC’s website at https://firstcoastculturalcenter.org/beaches-a-celebration-of-the-arts-2025.
Those interested in sponsoring the event can contact Kimberly Sheridan at 904-280-0614, Ext. 1205, or ksheridan@firstcoastculturalcenter.org.
