It’s time to break in those new dance shoes. The Beaches Emergency Assistance Ministry is back and hosting its annual “BEAM of Light” Beach Ball on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
From 7 to 11 p.m. at the TPC Sawgrass Clubhouse, guests will be able to enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, auctions, live music by the RadioLove Band, dancing and to help get the dancing going, an open bar filled with liquid courage.
Funds raised at the ball will go straight to BEAM “to provide emergency assistance and a path to economic stability,” according to its website.
Bright and colorful cocktail attire is encouraged. The ball’s theme is inspired by designer, Emilio Pucci, and his abstract, bold and colorful fashion. According to the BEAM website, Pucci’s style is described as “resort clothing that embodies the beach’s natural beauty and refreshingly bright colors... Think retro Lily Pulitzer…”
