Bentley Motors is soon making its Jacksonville debut.

The ultra-luxury car manufacturer announced the opening of a new First Coast dealership at a press conference at the Prime Osborn III Convention Center on Monday, June 18. Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, City Councilman Danny Becton and Bentley officials were on hand for the event, among others.

“We are excited to expand into a vibrant Jacksonville market and bring a new and extraordinary ultra-luxury automotive offering to its residents,” said President and CEO of Brickell Motors Mario Murgado. “It is our priority to ensure our customers have a unique Bentley experience. In our new dealership, they will enter an exclusive world of unparalleled design, personalized service, automotive passion and unmatched attention to detail.”

Brickell Motors is the dealership group behind Bentley Jacksonville. The new dealership, expected to open in 2019, will be Bentley’s 46th in the United States. According to a press release sent out by the British car brand, the location will be a full-service dealership on Bonneval Road.

“Jacksonville is an ideal expansion location for Bentley,” said Mark Del Rosso, president and CEO of Bentley Motors. “Jacksonville offers a cosmopolitan nature and quality of culture and services that our clients seek. They also seek to do business with people like Mario Murgado who value family, neighbors and community. We look forward to traveling the pathways of this new endeavor.”

Curry said he was excited about the dealership’s positive impact on the local economy and the continued growth of the city. Bentley will join other luxury brands such as Maserati, Porsche, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Lexus in Jacksonville.

“I am delighted to join fellow community and business leaders in welcoming Bentley Motors to Jacksonville,” said Curry. “As mayor, I am committed to supporting the vitality of our city and am very pleased to position Jacksonville alongside Bentley’s prestigious car brand. Bentley’s presence certainly adds momentum to our growing economy.”
