Abby Steele, Donne Ordile, Rachel Marcus-Mitchell, Tracy Aquila, Sherill Herzfeld and Betsy Siegel gather at Beth El The Beaches Synagogue’s annual Night of Giving Gala on March 30 at Marsh Landing Country Club in Ponte Vedra Beach. Members in attendance enjoyed food, bid on silent and live auctions, and listened to the music of Nick Marino. The “Play it Forward” gala theme was created to align with a generous contribution made by the synagogue’s leader, Rabbi Michael Matuson. The rabbi pledged to create and direct a large donation to a fund dedicated to paying down the Beth El building mortgage. The annual gala is just the start for this match.
