Betty J. (Noblitt, Box) Patterson, 93, of Jacksonville, FL, passed away June 6, 2023. She was born in Battle Creek, MI on June 24, 1929 and graduated from high school in Birmingham, AL.
She married Charles T. Patterson in 1982. Betty worked for the federal government in Birmingham, Atlanta and Washington DC.
She was a member of Palms Presbyterian Church where she served as a shepherd and volunteered at Mayo Clinic. She had a passion for flowers, golf, and enjoyed entertaining family and friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Charles T. Patterson, sister Bobbie J. Reeder and is survived by her brother, Ed Noblitt and his two daughters Jennifer Harward (Jay) (Stewart, Travis, Katie),
and Cathy Hedrick (Kevin) (Cale, Garrett), and two stepdaughters, Mary Marbut (Earl) and
Cheri Roper (Doug); grandchildren, Denise Corbin, Whit Marbut and daughter, Sophia, and Michelle Clark (Eric) and their children, Zach, DeLaney and Hallie.
Funeral service will be held Friday, June 23, 2023 at 1 p.m. at Palms Presbyterian Church, 3410 3rd Street South, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250.
