Butterfield Garage Art Gallery, 137 King St., St. Augustine, is inviting artists to create and share works honoring their mothers or celebrating motherhood in its invitational exhibition, “To Mom with Love.”
Anyone may participate. The gallery supplies the canvas. Any medium may be used. Works created on materials other than the canvas supplied must conform to the 8-by-8-inch dimensions.
Interpretation can be broad. For instance, the work may depict a mother’s favorite flower or a treasured memory.
Entry forms and canvases are available at the gallery. Entry forms are also available on the Butterfield Garage website http://butterfieldgarage.com and Facebook page.
An entry fee of $10 includes an 8-by-8-inch canvas.
All entries must be received at Butterfield Garage Art Gallery no later than Friday, April 30. The exhibit’s opening reception will take place on Friday, May 7, and the exhibition will continue through May 31.
All submitted work will be on exhibit; the participant determines if work will be for sale. Butterfield Garage will handle any sales.
