Immerse yourself into Van Gogh’s art

“Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience” is coming to Jacksonville. The presentation was created by French-Canadian creative director Mathieu St-Arnaud and his team at Montreal’s world-renowned Normal Studio.

With over 3 million tickets sold, this experience, produced by Paquin Entertainment Group, features more than 300 of Vincent Van Gogh’s iconic artworks, exciting the art lovers' senses through a three-dimensional lens in a way that’s never been experienced before.

Guests will walk through an all-new, exclusively designed space that will transport them into Van Gogh’s world, becoming one of the brush strokes on his colorful canvases and illuminating the senses.

It will be presented between Sept. 16 and Nov. 9 at Immersive Art Space, 119 W. Beaver St., Jacksonville. Hours are: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays and on Sundays, and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. Note that final entry will be one hour before closing.

Tickets available for holiday concert

Ponte Vedra Concert Hall will welcome University of North Florida’s Choral Ensemble for carols and “Messiah” favorites on Dec. 9. This event is sponsored by Friends of Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.

Under the direction of Cara Tasher, the ensemble will present its annual concert, “Singing in the Season,” at 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 for students and seniors, $25 for advance general admission and $35 for day-of-show general admission. A portion of the ticket sales will support student scholarships.

Tickets are on sale now. Avoid ticket fees by purchasing tickets in person at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre box office. Box office hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursdays and Fridays, and 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturdays. The box office accepts credit- and debit-card payments only.
