Posted

The topic at an upcoming St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Council meeting will be “Economics, A Look Ahead” presented by Mark Vitner, managing director and senior economist at Wells Fargo Securities. The breakfast meeting begins at 8 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at the Renaissance, St. Augustine Resort in World Golf Village.

Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Vitner tracks national and regional economic trends, writes for the company’s Monthly Economic Outlook report and the Weekly Economic & Financial Commentary. He also provides regular updates on housing markets, commercial real estate, regional economies, consumer spending and issues impacting small business.

“I am looking forward to Mark’s remarks,” Isabelle Renault, Chamber president and CEO, said. “He spoke at this event several years ago and is able to inform us of forecasted trends so that we can plan appropriately. An economic overview in December 2019 will give us needed information as we head into an election year in 2020.”
